The Napa and Sonoma Wine Trip that I shared with 3 very close friends, was an exceptional trip and experience. Judith Henkels of Distinctive Tastings had each of our days filled with an itinerary that allowed us to visit at least three of the best rated wineries in the Napa and Sonoma Regions each day of our four day trip with one-on-one wine tasting experiences. Each winery gave us a learning experience filled with a wealth of information on the grapes, growing procedures, and harvest. Judith's knowledge of the area also provided excellent shopping trips and excellent choices of local restaurants. The overall rating for this trip is a TEN....

Having traveled there before on numerous occasions, I can tell you that we now know there is no other way to go than with Distinctive Tastings. From coordinating our private car from San Francisco, selecting superb restaurants and gaining us access to private tastings at otherwise inaccessible wineries, we experienced the ultimate in relaxation and pampering. It was so nice to have as much or as little say as we wanted in the planning process. Your flexibility and expertise show what pros you are! Thank you again for creating an excellent getaway. I didn't have an appreciation for wines until I went to Napa with Judith and Patrick.  In fact, I wasn't even planning on tasting much.  But at the first winery they took me to, I realized that I really do enjoy the quality wines that were poured for us.  I often entertain clients and have to order wines at dinner.  I now feel much more confident in choosing the proper wines from the restaurant wine menus.

Judith Henkels and Patrick Henry are the best at their passion – wines!!  Recently, they presented a wine seminar to Harvey Woman’s Club in East Texas .  Most of the audience felt a need to learn more about various wines and the protocol of serving and presenting.  Their presentation was an educational experience and so much fun.  The audience enthusiastically interacted with the program and all felt their knowledge had been enhanced.  Judith and Patrick were very receptive to all questions from the audience.

 

They took you with them when they mentally escorted you through the Sonoma and Napa wine regions explaining the numerous inputs that determine the quality of various wines.

 

They were informative, very interactive and humorous.  It was a truly enjoyable experience.
